End Dependence on OPEC

The FUEL OF INDENDENCE IS ALREADY HERE

If Congress really wants to make America less dependent on foreign oil, they would be supporting Synfuel. Or more specifically, the gasification of coal.

In WW-II the German army and air force ran on coal converted to gasolene.

Unlike other technologies that they hope, if they throw enough dollars at the problem, may some day be made to work, Synfuel is a proven technology, the distribution systems are in place and our current cars, trucks, aircraft, power plants, etc. need not be changed.

That’s right we can continue to use existing engines without costly and often performance degrading modifications.

One ton of coal can be converted into two barrels of a crude oil. This crude oil can be converted into ANY liquid fuel.

An added benefit is that the Synfuel has significantly lower emissions than the current fuels that they would replace.

Experts estimate that the United States alone, with present mining technologies, could supply the worlds oil needs for the next 200 years.

Tell Congress to support Synfuel as the “Freedom Fuel”

This action could, in only a few years, end our reliance on Middle-Eastern oil, and reduce the price at the pump.
