Failed Polocies Of The Past

No matter what John McCain proposes, BO has the same tired answer, “They want to return to the Failed Policies of the Past!” It is not John McCain that seeks to return to failed policies of the past, it is BO himself that is proposing a return to old failed policies.

On terrorism, BO wants to return to the failed “Law Enforcement” policy of the past, which resulted in nearly 3000 dead American’s on 9/11. He claims that the attack on the World Trade Towers in 1993 proves that the Law Enforcement approach worked. But the planner of the ’93 attack escaped punishment and went on to plan the attack which took the Towers down on 9/11. Using the Law Enforcement approach, we had 25 years of attacks. Since 9/11, the Bush administration, using preemptive action, has thwarted any new attacks on the U.S. (Note to BO — The perpetrators of 9/11 were killed in the crashes. Bush was NOT distracted from arresting them!)

On Energy, BO wants to return to the old failed policy and tax the producers (Big Oil). That policy gave us shortages and long lines. It did not give us one drop of oil. He has no plan to increase domestic production. BO has made it clear that he sees the production of domestic oil as a failed old policy.

On foreign policy BO wishes to follow the old failed policies of the Carter administration; the same policies that gave us modern day Iran.

On national defense BO wants to cut out virtually all military research and development. He wants to reduce the size of the defense department. Her wants to return to “failed old policies” of Jimmy Carter, and Bill Clinton which left us with a manpower level that cannot sustain a relatively simple war without stressing our troops

On spending, he wants to return to the old failed policies where some taxpayers were taxed at 70% of their gross income. With BO’s promised spending, we could be talking about incomes well below $100,000/year.

On gun control, he has been quite clear. “No private citizen should own a firearm!” This is a very old Democrat policy which thus far, they have been able to impose on a few cities, but is has been a massive failure in those few places. Washington, DC, the murder Capitol of the World comes to mind.

All of you can add to this list, but to sum it up. ALL of those old failed policies are what BO calls CHANGE!.
